PULLMAN, Wash. —Aaron Breshears, who was acting as the interim police chief, has now been sworn in as the official permanent police chief of Pullman.
Since December, Breshears has been functioning as the interim police chief after taking over from the previous Chief Opgenorth, who had gone on leave due to allegations of sexual misconduct under investigation and later quit his position.
Breshears, who has more than twenty years of experience with the department, served as a police commander prior to being appointed as the interim chief.
