The Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, D.C., is looking into a car accident involving an upturned vehicle in the northwest section of the city on Wednesday night.
Authorities stated that the accident happened on the northbound section of 16th Street at O Street.

Law enforcement has requested motorists to find alternative paths, due to the accident causing the streets to be shut down, authorities stated.
