
TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - I-10 was reopened after a fatal pedestrian accident occurred early Monday, April 7.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported that the accident occurred at 4:06 a.m. on the westbound lane of Interstate 10, situated between Cortaro Farms and Tangerine roads.
The DPS stated that a motorist pulled over onto the emergency shoulder of the eastbound lane and then crossed the eastbound lanes and the median before being struck by multiple vehicles upon entering the westbound lanes.
The individual has been identified as 36-year-old Lauren Diane Walker Meuth from Casa Grande.
